Sports that are offered this year (2011-2012) at Valley View
***Season Four, Track will start on Monday, April 9th. Practices will run from 2:20-4:00, Monday through Thursday, some Friday practices may be required. Sign ups will be posted outside of the main office starting Monday, March 19th.
**please note highlighted events are a change in the original schedule, last updated 4-30-12.
If you are interested in playing a school sport, prior to that season starting sign ups will be posted on the office window. Remember you must have your athletic packet in for the year. Athletic packets can either be downloaded from the VV website or picked up in the main office. If you have questions you may see Mrs. Walker in the main office.
If a student anticipates turning out for sports, he/she needs to have a sports physical before participating in any sports practice. Forms are available in the Main Office or found in the forms section of this website if you choose to download them. When the student turns in this completed packet, making sure that the physician has signed and completed his/her portion, they are added to our athletic database and may attend and participate in the first day of practice. Students are then cleared for any sport throughout the year, and packets are good for twenty-four months from the date of the doctor’s physical. Complete packets should be turned in to the main office in care of Athletics.
