WHAT IS THE WA. STATE BASIC FOOD PROGRAM? Basic Food is a food and nutrition program for individuals and families who meet income guidelines. Works in Progress showcases some of the fine work produced by students at Valley View Middle School. Mr. Bates would like to thank all who submitted work. There were too many excellent pieces and too little space. Thanks to Mr. Kelly, Ms. Schreeder and Mr. Cowan for encouraging students to submit work. This year Cody Gemmer did yeoman editorial work. Without his keen eye, Works in Progress would still be in progress. And finally, The Valley View Parent Club providing the funding for the awards, gift certificates to Barnes and Noble. The staff gratefully acknowledges their generosity. |
